fibre club sign ups are open!
Finally completed the shop update (a little later than sooner).
A few new introductions:
A fingerless glove pattern - “Whither Mitts” and its companion yarn, “BFL Sport“:
As well, a few new things in spinning: Learn-to-spin-kits, Exotic Drop-Spindles and Fancy Batts.
Last but not least - sign ups for the Oceanwind Knits Fibre Club ‘09 are open! See all the details here. 6 options available. Shipments begin in July.

shop update underway…
New items going up in the shop today (and over the rest of the week):
Merino laceweight, Seabreez lace, roving, spinning kits (new!), drop-spindles (new!), tweedy sock, BFL sport (new!), merino seacell…
I’m hoping to complete the update by Friday. Check the ‘what’s new’ section of the shop to see all new items.

Introducing the new lotus shawl (she is still lacking in an official name but it will come, soon enough):
She will make her debut next weekend, at the Downtown Knit Collective’s Knitters Frolic. We are both looking forward to it. :)

time to get with the future…
I’ve been fiddling around in my mind for several years now the terms of a re-design/re-organization for the Oceanwind Knits website. Finally getting round to it.
It’s always a little bothersome to have something on your mind, isn’t it?
Feels good to get this all together.
It will also be nice to have more active content - check this space regularly for the newest Oceanwind Knits products.
